I just looked through the updates for the year, on the Official Guild Wars site. It mentions the addition of the other titles, but no change recently has mentioned the addition of a new title. Since Guild Wars.com hasn't said anything, I think we can be assured this is most definitely a big joke.

Do you realize how many things have been changed that they do not put in the notes on guildwars.com?

I realize that there are a lot of little things messed with, but titles are a bit more visible, and usually are given a bit more attention. And as much as I would find a title update(unannounced) to be interesting, I'm not ready to believe it until I see it myself ingame, or someone like Gaile makes an official statement.

But that's just my two cents

Near the bottom Gaile says "Why would you be above level 16 in presearing??"

I think that means she's never heard of such a title.

Here's a challenge. If it's possible to level up the Charr in presearing, get legendary survivor title in presearing. Have a partner do the dying and you wait before killing the leveled up Charr. Or you can get two accounts and run two GW's on two computers or the same one and do it yourself.

also if you read the stuff on gwonline.net (the link above) the OP of the topic e-mailed A-net and they didn't say it was or wasn't. just said if you have it you can get that title. Also the level 20 person w/ the title has chatted with one of the forum members (yes there's SS of it) on how to get the title.

Maybe some small update will come to level up in pre. Have no clue why you want to be level 20 in pre with stacks of black dye... but oh well there might be.

no hard rez; both members have to die before the rez shrine activates

this title = utter crap, thats all i can say :/

Oops, haven't thought of that. Okay then rez the partner repeatedly... er can't do that. No monk rez skills as far as I know in presearing.

Generally you're right. Since anybody can edit it, there is no guarantee that every piece of information is correct. As an old Pre-Searing veteran (Dolls to the Walls) I can safely say this is a valid title, I have the progress on several of my Characters and it first showed up on my hero bar at lv 12.

Various people in Pre-Searing have this title, G Anti p and Me c l ss and some others (names changed as per for forum poli) You can still death level your character, a good place for this is next to the abbey or over the wall.

For the abbey option, travel outside the abbey and aggro one or two of the moa birds, pull them to the res shrine and then let them kill you.

With my cr at lv 13

After 2 deaths the Moa will be lv2
After 5 deaths the Moa will be lv 3
After 5 deaths the moa will be lv 4 after that and I left the pc running.

No offense (to Gaile or you), but what Gaile says about it is by no means binding or compelling proof. I don't understand why people still quote her in cases like this. Very often she doesn't have the latest information from the dev team. When she talks about something she always makes sure to add phrases like "in my opinion", "as far as I know", etc. , to make clear that what she says isn't an official announcement. In some cases in the past she was plain wrong. Gaile is a community spokesperson (and she's good at that!), but not a game expert. Her job is to talk to the community, not to play the game, and it shows. In general, her knowledge of the game mechanics and content is less than that of an experienced veteran player.

Again, no offense to Gaile, she's doing a great job at PR, but don't overrate what she says about game content.

Hello all,

12 months ago I met Anti, who's sole quest was to hit 20 in pre and show that you could. One day, jokingly, I made a pvp char and told Anti I was Anti's apprentice and that I already hit 20, Anti said I should keep the char and try to level to 20 in pre, thus "God Apprentice" was born. Unfortunately I had dial up back then so i was never able to realise this goal (I got to 16). I did however keep the char in pre and played on it often, it got a mini pet etc., then 2 weeks ago a fellow "perma pre searing" person told me that it was possible again. Anti pm'd me in game and said it's possible again and that there is a title. It IS possible to level monsters again I have tried it out using the methods Anti told me about, and I have seen the title on Merc who did reach 20 back then, she was dancing in Ascalon with it on. Oh just to let you know there are 4 people who have hit 20 in pre I saw that Merc does have it, I figure Cloud and C K have titles as well (the other 2 20s). So to sum it all up, yes 20 is possible in pre again, with a title for it.

If ture, does anyone have an idea when the title was introduced? Obviously it wasn't before titles were introduced, but was it one that was there with the initial batch of titles? I'm pretty sure it's not retrospective because I had one fairly high level character in pre and nothing shows (he wasn't 20 though). That's definitely one like survivor though where it's only really for new characters.

she also didnt know if you stay at the login screen after the nightfall song is played it goes to factions then to prophecies songs also...
